The Holy Prophet (S) said: “He who searches for knowledge is similar to a person who fasts during the day and keeps vigil at night and is busy worshipping. If a person acquires a branch of knowledge, it is better for him than possessing as much gold as the height of Abu Qubais Mount which he would distribute in the way of Allah.” ¹

 

Imam al-Baqir (‘a) said: “Try to learn knowledge because learning it is a good action and study is itself a worship.” ²

 

The Holy Prophet has said: “Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah makes easy for him a path to Paradise.” ³

 

The Holy Prophet has said: “When the human being dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” ⁴

 

Imam Ali has said: “The most helpful thing in purifying the intellect is education.” ⁵

 

Imam Ali has said: “The one who does not know must never be too proud to learn.” ⁶

 

The Messenger of Allah said: “Who goes goes seeking knowledge, then he is in Allah’s cause until he returns.” ⁷

 

Imam Ali has said: “The one who seeks for knowledge is like a warrior in the cause of religion for the way of Allah.” ⁸

 

The Holy Prophet (S) said: “The good of this world and the world to come is with knowledge.” ⁹

 

The Holy Prophet has said: “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” ¹⁰
